Quickly becoming a fan of kettlebells July 11, 2010 du_nomad (Salinas, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This was my first kettlebell, and as such I went pretty light. This 10 lb. weight is a good starter, to help you get familiar with how kettlebells work and what you can do with them. Though interestingly, I've found that certain moves are actually easier to perform with a heavier weight (e.g., it's easier to keep the bell from hitting your forearm during a Clean with a heavier bell because the center of mass is different).
Anyway, the GoFit kettlebells are well-made. The rubber coating adds a tiny bit to the comfort, but mostly helps keep the bell from scratching/gouging other items :) The handle is pretty comfortable, though this small kettlebell is rather hard to use for two-handed swings unless you have really tiny hands. But then again, it's pretty light for that purpose anyway, so it's not a major detriment.

This is my 2nd purchase of a kettlebell. Very easy to use and makes weight-lifting easy!
Good equipment, lousy DVD March 12, 2010 CheriO (MidAtlantic State) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I ordered this because I was having trouble finding a 10 lb Kettlebell, so I didn't really want the DVD... good thing. It's the worst workout video I've ever seen... but I'm happy with the Kettlebell...

I LOVE this kettlebell. At first I thought I had ordered too heavy a weight, but this is working out great. Definitely a workout!
just kettle July 15, 2009 bmorekw (baltimore) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
everyone should be aware that this is just a kettle bell and the dvd is not a routine but instuctions on various moves. I just did each move twice with the exception of the turkish get-up ,(this weight is to heavy for me to do it) doing this give me a pretty good work out.
