About Stamina Stamina Products, Inc. began building exercise equipment twenty-two years ago. Over time, their scope broadened beyond stationary bikes and rowers to include home Pilates reformers. This quickly led to the invention of the patented Free-Form Cardio Rebounder, and AeroPilates was born. Not only did AeroPilates bring Pilates reformer exercise out of the studio and into the home, it also ramped up the traditional Pilates flexibility and strengthening exercises by adding effective, low-impact cardiovascular exercise. With the AeroPilates reformer, Stamina had created one exercise machine that provides all the training needed for a lean, lithe, young looking, and healthy body. All of Stamina's exercise equipment shows attention to innovation and function. Great product for an extremely cheap price July 23, 2010 Mark A. Thomas I have been looking for a pull up/dip station for sometime that didn't take up a lot of room and was at a price that isn't too high. This product is very well manufactured and I'm really enjoying the added workout to go along with my weightlifting. My only grip is that pull up bar isn't set higher. Otherwise, this is about as good as you get based on what I've found.
Great price and product July 9, 2010 Justin Wistinghausen This tower is great and at $99 dollars you can't beat it. It was free delivery with FEDEX and I received it within 2 days of ordering on Amazon. Upon opening the box it was relatively easy to see how it was going to go together. Then after looking at the instructions it was even easier. All the hardware came in tact. Total time for me to assemble was about a 1/2 hour by myself. Make sure the room where you put it together is where it is going to stay because I highly doubt this thing will fit through the standard size doorway.
After the first use, it was very sturdy and the foam grips helped a lot. There are quite a few workouts that be done with this tower. I would recommend this, because the quality and price can't be beat.
Great Product June 19, 2010 P. Do (Elk Grove, CA USA) I received this product as I expected. It looks very nice. I love it.
I wish this product is made out of aluminum so its weight is not so heavy.
Simple to use, simple to put together June 17, 2010 Apolonio R. Soriano (Seattle, WA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm a p90x grad. I bought the fancy bar that Beachbody sells, which I love, but I wanted something to do dips with. This thing is perfect. The extra wide grip is also a lot wider than the p90x bar. You can also do bow stretches front and back. It was super easy to put together. It also really doesn't take up much space.
Disappointing, Not Stable May 10, 2010 John Sparks (Richmond, VA) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
This pull up bar sounds like a much more sturdy stand than it truly is. I got it to do P90X program. I am 6 feet tall and weigh 200 lbs. The weight limit is 250, but the whole structure bends slightly when I do pull ups. The height is actually lower than the door jam pull up bar (or the same -- very close and frustrating). I have previously owned a Weider pull up bar in multi-station home gym, and it was much superior. The Weider construction never "bent" or ever felt unstable. I constantly feel like this is going to collapse thanks to the weaker hollow tube construction (tubes more thin unlike the heavy metal of a Weider). All in all, you can spend just a few dollars more and get a Weider. The only advantage this unit has is simple construction and portability. I've had difficulty moving the Weider equipment, and actually sold the last one at a substantial loss when I moved. I just wanted a simple pull up unit, and expected this to be more sturdy. It was a total waste of about $100, when I could have gotten THIS level of pull up bar in a much cheaper door jam unit. I do not recommend this for adults doing pull-ups. For children -- yes. The push up feature is also stupid. $20 push up hand grips do the job. Again, useless features and just a cheap alternative to Weider. I suppose one gets what one pays for and I was stupid in making this purchase. That's the bottom line -- it's made me feel stupid for purchasing it cause the unit is so lame.
