Fantastic product for backpain relief! September 7, 2010 HVD I find this product more effective in reliving backpain than other common inversion tables, it takes sometime to get used to but it works, I even squeze in some ab workouts every now and then!
Makes your back pains go away July 18, 2010 Klaus F. Nabinger (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) Since when I was 14 years old, I have a back problem due to a trauma caused by excess of weight that I had to carry. Since then, I suffer from terrible back pains. I did a MRI that showed my intervertebral discs damaged and going out from where it was supposed to be (prolapsed disc). So, going to a chiropractic would relieve my pain due to the strech. I figure why not buy an inverter... So I did and I can tell it will relieve your aches. In the beginning you may feel nauseous but you get used to the new position and will be satisfied with no more pains. If you make an inversion at least once each two days, probably you will live a normal life and won't be limited due to the stress the pain causes you. Recommended!
PS: The boots are comfortable. Of course, you are upside down and at a point you will feel some discomfort in your anckle, but I can imagine something holding you upsidedown more comfortably than this.
I add in some features for this product and it works even better March 14, 2010 Ben (California, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I use this for almost half a year now. I have to buy new jeans with smaller size. About this product, you have to have a strong upper body to kick your legs up and hang them on the bar. I use this with a few other items to add in the fun and ease. I use alone with the "Perfect Pullup". It makes it easier for me and fun. Then I add in the "GoFit 20 LB Premium Kettle Bell" one on each arm and do the inversion pull up. It is more challenged and pulled my back even more. I also use the "Perfect Pullup Heavy Duty Performance Series Ab Straps" alone with the "Perfect Pullup". Combo your work out, it is fun and more challenging. Remember play it safe, known your limit. It is no fun falling upside down on your head. Comparing this to the inversion table is that the inversion table is safer but boring and less challenging. This one is challenging, fun, taking less space but not as safe as the inversion table. I am athletic. I own both the inversion table and this. I like the gravity boots more. It is totally depended on your tastes and needs.
It is too early to telll but I think I will like it... January 2, 2010 CC (Vancouver, BC) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
My friend has been using this device for over 10 years and swears it made a difference. He claims that one of the side effects is that he has gotten taller from using this device? I only give it a 4 stars rating because it is too early to tell if it will help my back pain but as of today it seems to relieve some of the pressure. I would recommend to breath deeply while using it otherwise you might feel nauseous. Another hint would be to perform abs exercises like sit-ups at a different time interval than your back stretches to minimize the same nauseous feelings and not to over stimulate your back muscles.
I lent this device to another friend who also struggle with bad back pains and he just loves it and concluded that he will probably buy one as well. Unlike the inverted tables this requires far more mobility from the user and would be recommended to those users who want and are physically capable of hanging from the ankles for a whole body stretch as opposed to the tables which stretches from the waist up.
Great Fun and Easy to Install September 12, 2009 A. Salmons (Corona, California USA) I got this item to stretch out my back, it works great! It was easy to install and the boots are very comfortable. Don't tighten them to much though, they work better if you leave them a little loose. This product came with a DVD which walks you through the install process and basic use. Great value and delivery was prompt.
If you have bad hips or knees, or being vertical is not your thing, I look into the table version of this product.
