As someone else said, these springs are strong, and I can squeeze a bathroom scale past 300 lbs. I paralyzed my hand from pinched nerves in my back and coudn't hold a pencil. I bought this after seeing it in a movie and replaced the strong springs with some short thick rubber bands. Very good full finger and thumb range of motion, much better than anything else I've seen. Good for rehabilitating. I will gradually work up to putting the spring back by adding additional rubber bands.

I bought the exact model for like $10 from another website. I like it. It hurts your fingers a little bit and the loop covers slide but they move right back.

Hi,
I have been looking for this item (the metal one really not this one) for YEARS!!! I took Northern Shaolin Kung Fu over 10 years ago and we had the spring thing in the school which we used to strengthen our grip. This thing I ordered because I figured well it says deluxe and it is black but I dont know I could barely move the springs. I think I will order the regular metal one I was looking for all along.

I like this eagle catcher better than regular hand grips because it really strengthens the individual thumb and fingers. I also like it better than the all-metal eagle catcher because it won't rust or bend.
